Accessibility

Information for everyone.

How we are working to make the site usable and how to tell us about a barrier.

Our commitment

ICH wants its website and online information to be usable by people of different abilities and technologies. Our design goal is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. This is an aim, not a claim of independent certification.

Measures we use

  • Alternative text for non-decorative images and plain-language captions where context matters.
  • Readable contrast, clear headings and labelled links and controls.
  • Keyboard access to the main navigation and core content.
  • English and Spanish subtitle tracks for the Chile circular-manufacturing film.
  • Responsive layouts and ongoing testing with tools and user feedback.

Compatibility and limitations

We aim to work with current major browsers and assistive technologies. Some linked external resources or archived documents may have accessibility limitations beyond this website's controls. We continue to review barriers and improve material we can publish accessibly.

Some films do not yet offer selectable captions or transcripts. Their descriptions provide context rather than a full account of the speech. If you need an accessible format, please contact the Secretariat.

Feedback and accessible formats

If you encounter a barrier, write to admin@ichumanity.org. Tell us which page or item was difficult and what format would help. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and, where possible, provide the information in an accessible form.
