Who we are
Stichting International Centre of Humanity (ICH) is based at Alexanderveld 5, 2585 DB The Hague, Netherlands. You can ask about this notice or your personal information at admin@ichumanity.org.
What we receive
When you email ICH, you choose what to include. This may include your name, email address, organisation, country and message. When you ask to receive updates, we use your email address for that purpose. If you use a future course, donation or other service, ICH will explain any additional information needed for that specific service before collecting it.
Our website does not ask for a date of birth or payment details through its current contact route. We do not store full payment-card details on this site.
Why we use information
We use enquiry details to reply, manage a relevant relationship and carry out necessary administration. We use newsletter details to send updates when you request them and can stop when you withdraw consent. We may process limited technical information needed for site security and reliable operation, subject to applicable law.
Depending on the activity, our basis may be your consent, steps relating to a service you request, legitimate interests that do not override your rights, or legal obligations. We do not use information for unrelated purposes without a valid basis.
Who may receive it
People authorised to manage ICH's communications and services may access relevant information. ICH may use service providers for email, hosting or other services. Where information is transferred outside the European Economic Area, ICH will use an applicable adequacy decision or other appropriate safeguard, such as standard contractual clauses, where required.

Retention and security
ICH keeps personal information only as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected and any applicable legal, accounting or reporting requirements. Newsletter contact details are kept while you wish to receive updates and are removed from the mailing list when you unsubscribe or withdraw consent, subject to records ICH must lawfully retain. ICH applies proportionate technical and organisational safeguards against unauthorised access, loss and misuse.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access, correct or erase information; restrict or object to processing; receive a portable copy; or withdraw consent. Write to admin@ichumanity.org to make a request. You may also raise a concern with the relevant data-protection authority.
Changes to this notice
ICH may update this notice as services and legal requirements change. The current version will be available on this page.
