The work in context

Learning through experience.

The F.A.I.R. Project offers an immersive experiential programme for people aged 18–27, in collaboration with ICH and Ecocivilisation. Dialogue, inquiry and reflection help participants explore what a fairer decision could look like.

The wider initiative also includes online dialogues, research fellowships and community-led F.A.I.R. Spaces. Its own website provides current programme and participation details.

The F.A.I.R. methodology

A practice
of paying attention.

ICH’s July 2026 education presentation introduces four habits for learning through inquiry and participation.

01 / 04 · Fact-find

Look more closely.

Fact-find and familiarise: begin by exploring the situation and becoming better acquainted with its context.

The method connects curiosity with a willingness to investigate.

02 / 04 · Advocate

Consider another viewpoint.

Advocate for alternate viewpoints: make room for perspectives beyond the first or most familiar explanation.

The invitation is to consider how the same situation may be understood differently.

03 / 04 · Introspect

Examine your own thinking.

Introspect and interrogate: reflect on the assumptions and experiences that shape what you see.

Learning includes questioning the lens through which you understand the world.

04 / 04 · Reason

Work through what you learn.

Reason and rationalise: connect information, perspectives and reflection through deliberate thinking.

These are habits of inquiry, intended to be practised repeatedly rather than treated as a one-off answer.

Explore this approach in ICH’s 29 July 2026 education conversation. The F.A.I.R. Project is associated with Eight Goals One Foundation.
